Boa Tarde!!

That's "good afternoon" for all you non-Portuguese speaking folks! We're home!! And oh, how I wish I could have blogged daily from Brazil. Because I have SO much to tell, it will take forever to get it all out!

It's been an afternoon of laundry, paying bills, playing with the kids, and picking up antibiotics (see, the stories will be GOOD!). So thankful to be home and just so thankful. We saw over 150 people come to know the Lord as their Savior! God is good! I am blessed to have been a part of this mission and in awe that the Lord is allowing me to witness firsthand the things He's doing in the "outback" of Brazil.

Thanks to those who commented on my posts while I was gone. Sorry I didn't get to respond to all your comments (limited computer access) and I don't know if I'll get around to it today either. How about me getting all techy and scheduling posts to post while I was gone! I know! Next thing you know I'll be writing HTML or something.

For now, I'll just leave you with this image of a new believer.

Ciao!

SOOO glad y'all are back!!! God is good and it was wonderful to be able to hear bits and pieces of His working on your trip...can't wait to hear even more!
Hope you get some rest and feel much better really soon! Oh, and I must say I was totally impressed at the scheduling of the posts! When I saw the fist one come up, I was thinking "how in the world did she post from Brazil?" Ha!

I just found your site through Amy Beth at Ministry So Fabulous and saw that you just recently went to Brazil! I am leaving for Rio on Sunday for a missions trip. It sounds like you had a great time with God doing amazing things! On a side note: is there anything I should definitely do or definitely avoid while there? I would love your advice!

Kelly-
I can't find a way to contact you so hopefully you'll check back here. We went to the northern part of Brazil, to the outback. We definitely didn't drink the water. If you at all like soccer or know someone who does, buy soccer jerseys. Usually can find them (not the real ones of course) for cheap. Email me so I can email you back with some other stuff. j_dbridges@bellsouth.net
