End of Summer Fun

Right after we got home from Brazil, as in the DAY AFTER, we went to the beach with Daniel's family. It was a fun but quick trip.

We'll just attribute my lazy eyes to jet-lag, ok? Not to mention no make-up.

Daddy bonding time

Salty Dog Cafe

Cousins---the first 3 pictures were better but then I realized why they were so dark. Flash helps. So by the 4th one, we were losing them.

Sweet little thing

Just minding his own business, while the other two were having difficulty sharing. I think Hayes was just happy to have someone else fighting with his sister.

Yeah.
But he had been away from work almost 2 weeks.
(Too bad I didn't have that attitude when we were there.)
Speaking of work. On a recent Saturday that Daniel had to work, I took the kids with some friends to a small town fall festival in the area.

Buddies

Happy Fall, Y'all!!

These pictures are so good! I love the first one of the four of ya'll...you look so pretty in that brown polo! But then again, brown is your color, isn't it?!

Thank you so much for your prayers this week! I appreciate it more than you will know!

Glad to see that you are sticking with the "brown" that you're SUPPOSED to be wearing! LOL
I love the picture of the 4 of you --such a precious family!
I love me some Salty Dog Cafe, too!
Glad you got to get away for a few days!

Hey Jen! I rarely get time to check out other people's blogs, but since you commented on mine I had to pop over and check you out! It was cool to learn more about you... one of the tough things about going to such a big church is I don't get to know EVERYONE like I want to... but you have a beautiful family and I'm thrilled about the ways God used you in Brazil! See you around!
